This full day tour starts at the Port of Koper or at your Hotel in Portoroz with a private driver and guide. The hometown of the First Lady is located a 2 hour drive from the Slovenian Coast. The landscape you will pass is picturesque nature in all its essence, true to the fact that Slovenia is covered for almost 80% in forests.
Besides showing you around town and where the first lady Melania grew up, her house where she spent her childhood, school and surroundings, we will take you up to the 13th century castle above the old town, worthy of your visit. The countryside offers a tasty culinary experience, homemade bread with perfect salami, fresh trout from the river, goulash, dumplings, and much, much more. In addition, you will taste exquisite wines from this region, especially the Blue Franconia / Blue Frankish.
The First Lady Hometown Tour takes you to th town of Sevnica that honors her and her husband with many small products in the local shops: apple pie made with the traditional apples, Melania cake which is of a beautiful gentle flavor and the Donald burger, white house slippers and a whole range of first lady souvenirs. All of which connect the local heritage with traditions of the town.
Everything you hear and see during the First Lady Hometown Tour will give you a lasting memory which you will gladly share with your friends and family upon your returning home.
